Ways to Get Your Home Smelling Like the Holidays
Cut Fresh Greenery
This is the easiest and most effective way to get your home to smell like the holidays! Especially in you’re not lucky enough to get a fresh tree. Purchasing an inexpensive wreath (Milner Gardens in Langley has some really nice ones at a very reasonable price!), or making your own, or simply place fresh cut pine limbs on mantle or table also do the trick!
Simmering Pot on the Stove
Another easy way is having a pot simmering on the stove with water and an assortment of, cinnamon sticks, fresh cranberries, pine, orange peel, vanilla, apples, nutmeg and or cloves.
Mulled Wine
This is my favorite and serves two purposes! Have a mulled wine on the stove, or even in the crock pot smells nice and your guest can have a nice treat when they stop by for a visit.
